A Rheumatologist and Allergist (Clinical Immunologist)
is a physician who specializes not only in Internal
Medicine, but a physician expert in immune disorders
that affect your eyes, nose, lungs, skin, joints, and the
internal organs of your body.
With a history and physical examination from an expert physician, and with the
proper skin, blood, and imaging tests, a Rheumatologist and Allergist can help
you determine if you suffer from an immunologic problem, the extent of the
problem, and the proper treatment of the problem.
With proper diagnosis and treatment, a Rheumatologist and Allergist can help
you prevent blindness, sinus infections that might spread to your brain,
suffocation by Asthma, disfiguring immune skin diseases, destruction of your
joints with crippling, and immune damage to your vital organs.
With the proper knowledge and expertise, your personal physician can protect
you from medicines that interfere with any other medical problem that you may
have, and that interact with each other.
